We ask you to cancel the second shift in schools in Russia. Studying in the second shift: is it good or bad? Start 2nd shift at school

Psychologist Natalia Barlozhetskaya, host of the popular program "Supernanny" on the Ren-TV channel

Why do children want to go to school?

There are two groups of children: those with extrinsic motivation and those with intrinsic motivation. External motivation is when the child himself does not want to go to school yet, but his mother described the first grade so well, and even bought new pencils and a backpack, and the child begins to like the role of a student. If you ask him why he wants to go to school, he will answer: “There will be many children there, they will have new notebooks, paints, and a pencil case.”

The intrinsically motivated child is already ripe for learning new things. If they ask him why he wants to go to school, he will answer: "There are many interesting things they will tell, and I will learn to subtract and multiply."

Whatever the motivation, first grade is the place where a child learns to learn.

What is more important: school or teacher?

When parents ask me which is better - to choose a school or a teacher, my advice is unequivocal: teachers. In the first four years, a love of learning and a future attitude towards school are laid. If you choose not a teacher, but a school, by the fifth grade the child may not want to study at all.

What is the importance of age "6 and 6"

When a parent comes to school, the first thing he should pay attention to is the documents that he is asked to sign. Among them will be consent to the work of a psychologist with a child.

The psychologist has the right to work with the child only after the permission of the parent.

A child who has reached six and a half years old may not pass the psychological and pedagogical commission at all, and must be enrolled in the first grade.

Then I would advise parents to find out what sets of textbooks will be taught. There are programs that require special teacher training, so it would not be out of place to make sure that the teacher really has the right to teach in the attached program.

It is also worth checking out the curriculum. Arbitrary attention (when a child can focus on what they ask) begins to form no earlier than 6 years and 6 months. That is why psychologists do not recommend sending the child to school before this age: the emotional sphere of the child is often not ready for school yet.

Physical education minutes develop interhemispheric connections

First-graders come to school at 8.00, like all other children, but the duration of the lesson is shorter - 35 minutes. Why does the lesson actually last 45 minutes “from bell to bell”? The fact is that first-graders need time to concentrate, get all the accessories out of the backpack, look around: this is five minutes before the lesson and five minutes after. You need to understand that this is a normal process, and children need this time!

During the entire first grade, there must be breaks every seven minutes: five physical education minutes per lesson. This is very important for the development of interhemispheric connections and increasing the concentration of children's attention. This is especially useful for children with hypo- and hyperactivity.

Children who walk make fewer mistakes

Now every school has introduced a mandatory dynamic hour - a walk between lessons. In fact, it's only 25 minutes in the open air, the rest of the time is spent getting dressed, undressing, going out, lining up ...

Walking is very useful, even if it is raining outside: thanks to the dynamic hour, the level of cognitive activity in children increases.

We measured the level of concentration of attention and the number of errors in groups that walked and those who did not walk. It turned out that when writing dictations, children who walked made fewer mistakes than children who did not walk. This is explained very simply: during a walk, children, firstly, switch their attention, and secondly, they are enriched with oxygen, which is useful for brain activity.

Bang - second shift!

If you are determined to study on the second shift, you are doomed to a less successful development of the program by the child.

Our brain perceives information best in the morning. Absolutely everyone! I have not seen a single scientific justification for the existence of "owls" and "larks". My head is clear in the morning.

It is not worth studying for a child on the second shift - it is better to change schools.

The morning is wiser than the evening

Every person has a different level of concentration during the day. In the morning - increased, after 6 pm performance drops by 60%. Therefore, when parents do homework with their child until midnight, I say: it’s better for the child to come to school with no lessons learned at all, but well-rested!

Nothing good will come of doing homework after eight o'clock in the evening.

If the child did not have time to do written lessons, we go to bed, and in the morning we get up a little earlier. Studies show that tasks that a child completes in an hour in the evening, he manages to complete in 20 minutes in the morning. Especially children with increased responsibility suffer from this: they cannot go to bed until they finish the job, and if something doesn’t work out, they say: “I’d better rewrite.” And time is running out, concentration of attention is falling, mistakes are becoming more and more ... This is a dead end path. The morning is wiser than the evening.

Back to work with clean hands

When you do with a child homework, you need to switch attention every seven minutes. Introduce a ritual that will precede homework, such as going to wash your hands. It is advisable to do this at the same time. This will increase your concentration and help you develop a habit.

Start simple or complex?

For some children, performance increases during the lesson, for others it decreases. It is easier for someone to sit down and start right away, but then the child gets tired, and it is difficult for someone to start, but in the process he is “drawn in”. You can’t apply the “golden rule” to everyone - start with the difficult. This rule is suitable only for 50% of children.

The Toulouse-Pieron test will help determine where to start: simple or complex.

Praise - criticism - praise

Until the age of 6, when the child “burns up” something in the album and brings it to his mother, he is waiting for praise and only praise. He does not yet realize that something can be done badly. And if mom says: “You know, your house is not good enough: here you need to add a cloud, here is the sun,” the child will not understand this at all. And that's okay.

Only from the age of 5 does reflection begin to emerge, and self-reflection even later.

First, the child notices what and how others are doing. This is often called the period of sneaking: the baby evaluates the actions of others: “But Fedya peed himself!”, “But Vasya didn’t finish the porridge!”. And when they ask him: “Did you finish your porridge yourself?” - he thoughtfully answers: "No ..." And this is simply not important for him! The important thing is that he began to notice that someone was doing something wrong or not well.

Oddly enough, this is also a normal process! This is a natural stage of personal development. The child is not yet able to switch to independent activity. At first, he only learns to evaluate, but he can’t solve the problem himself yet: “And Petya took my toy!” - "And what?" the teacher asks. "Punish him!" “But why punish? Did you ask him to return the toy?” - "No".

And only then the next stage develops: the child suddenly discovers that he himself is doing something wrong!

This is already self-reflection: the ability to evaluate the results of one's activities from the negative side. It is formed from six to seven years. Until this age, we should praise everything the child does. And then, before you criticize, you need to find three things for which you can praise (or more). Otherwise, criticism "cuts its wings."

Criticism should be no more than three points! You need to finish the commentary again with praise - the child should leave in a state of recovery.

“Praise - criticism - praise” - this is the only way to encourage the child to realize his shortcomings and correct them.

If there are more criticisms than praises, he will not do anything.

Hypo- and hyperactive children increase the level of tolerance in the classroom

Now often there are such diseases in children as minor brain dysfunction, hyperactivity or attention deficit.

Approximately 2-3 such people are in any class. These kids will certainly interfere with everyone.

They will walk around the classroom, crawl under the desk, swing the chair in front of them ... Such students end up either in the first desk, where the teacher constantly sees and controls them, or in the last one - so that they interfere less with the class.

When they ask me where it is better for such children, I answer: "At the right teacher."

If a teacher has increased authoritarianism, is prone to pressing on the little things to the nail, they say, “you interfere with the whole class”, “sit down normally”, “how many times do I have to tell you” - imagine what kind of attitude classmates develop towards such a child. Indeed, at this age, children are very focused on the attitude of an adult significant person.

For some children, it even happens that the mother is no longer as important as the teacher: this speaks of high level learning motivation in the child. He no longer focuses on the relationship with his mother, but on the relationship with the teacher.

There are teachers who argue like this: “Mashenka is green-eyed, Vasenka is blond, and Vanechka is very active, so what?” And the children understand: “And nothing!” The teacher makes Vanechka her assistant: he runs for chalk, he will wash the rag, etc. There are many ways to interest such a child! You can make him a "boss" over others. You can praise him "in advance", put the top five.

These kids can give a lot! In classes where they are, the level of anxiety is lower, and the level of motivation and tolerance is higher than in classes where there are no such children.

It is especially important for children with hypo- and hyperactivity to find a good teacher. If the teacher does not like him, he has a great chance of becoming an outcast. Therefore, I recommend not chasing the level of the school and good grades - let better baby feels comfortable in the classroom and learns at his own pace. But parents will have to master the curriculum with the child at home.

If your child is having a hard time at school, don't wait, leave.

When a cyclist rides on your child, you don't wait for him to hit him! If a child does not like school, he may feel physically ill, this is psychosomatic: he feels sick, his stomach hurts, his head hurts, his sleep becomes disturbing. nervous ground. It's all called school neurosis. And even if you really wanted to get into this school, but the child does not like it in the first grade, go or change teachers.

To overcome anxiety and school neurosis, the best remedies are sleep and good nutrition.

Sports are very helpful in relieving stress. Sport gives a lot: discipline, good health, endurance. It's a myth that athletes have low IQ! My experience shows the opposite.

Another tip: get a cat between grades 1 and 3.

But in the event that you changed school or teacher, and everything repeats - this is a reason to think, maybe the teacher is not to blame?

Does the teacher like your child?

Now in all major cities school preparation groups are being conducted. You can not drive a child there, but I would still advise. At school, for example, there are three first grades. Three teachers distribute lessons: one teaches literacy to preschoolers, the other math, the third English language. And during the day the child has the opportunity to see all three teachers.

Ask your child which teacher he likes best. This is very important: already before school, relationships with teachers begin to take shape, and baby goes to the teacher he already knows and loves. It's harder to understand in a week, so I recommend going to a group for a year.

It is very important when there is a trusting relationship between parent and teacher. Ask in the evening how your child behaved today. And if the teacher answered once: “Well, nothing, it’s normal”, the second time he answered: “Today is not very good”, and the third time he admitted: “It’s hard” - you need to choose another teacher who will be easier with your child and comfortable.

After all, teachers also make a selection in their class - they intensely praise those children with whom they want to work more. And this is good! This is better for both the teacher and the child. If you wanted an experienced, good teacher, but your child doesn’t like her or she doesn’t like him, it’s better to go to a young one.

The most talkative children are the most popular

A child at school will not only learn knowledge, but establish relationships with classmates. It is worth the baby to be a little different from everyone else, and he occupies a certain niche.

The most talkative and fastest occupies the most profitable niche. To train a child's reaction, I advise you to play associations at home.

Often there is a situation: the teacher asked a question, half of the class raises their hands. Everyone wants to answer as soon as possible, they want to be asked exactly them. And while they "jump out of their pants", shouting "I know, I know!" - often forget both the question itself and their answer. And it turns out: the teacher asks Petya, who was pulling his hand, and he falls into a stupor and cannot remember what the question was about. And at this moment the whole class is looking at him! And the child understands: something is wrong ...

All this greatly affects both his self-esteem and his authority in the class. And a good response will help here.

Two friends in the class means you were accepted

Gradually, small groupings according to common interests stand out in the class: if a child has two friends who have chosen him, this is very good, this is enough.

As a rule, in any class there will be 2-3% of children who will not want to be friends with your child for nothing, no matter how wonderful he is. Exhale: not all people in the world want to be friends with you either!

Do not seek leadership! As practice shows,

leaders in school rarely succeed in life. And vice versa:

children who were second, "middle peasants" - learn to fight, resist, overcome resistance.

In grades 3-4, girls begin a “test”: when everyone starts to be friends against one. So they check how she responds to pressure. Therefore, it is necessary to immediately teach the child that he should find only two friends - and not strive to be friends with everyone. Two friends in the same class means that you were accepted in the class.

Many parents are faced with the need to send their child to school during the second shift. This is not always the decision of the parents themselves and the desire of the children, more often it is a necessity on the part of educational institutions. We will tell you in this article how to properly build the daily routine of a child studying on the second shift so that he does not get very tired and has time to study well.

Second shift training

Parents of schoolchildren studying on the second shift have a negative attitude towards the new daily routine, since, according to them, it causes a lot of inconvenience. Parents also complain that children get tired, and they have to forget about circles altogether for this period. Experts, meanwhile, note that in the second shift, the child can successfully study, have time to relax and help around the house. All that needs to be done for this is to properly organize the daily routine of the child.

Daily routine for a student of the second shift

Among the priorities in scheduling a child studying on the second shift, one can note:

  • healthy eating;
  • proper rest and sleep;
  • study at school and at home;
  • being outdoors.

It is best to start the morning of a student with a charge. It will make it possible to wake up and cheer up. The child should wake up at 7:00.

After charging, there are hygiene procedures, room cleaning and breakfast.

At around 8:00 a.m., the student should start doing homework. It should be borne in mind that the preparation of lessons by children lower grades it takes about 1.5-2 hours, while high school students spend about 3 hours on homework.

From 10:00 to 11:00, children have free time that they can spend on household chores or hobbies, as well as use it for outdoor activities.

The child should have lunch at the same time every day - around 12:30. After lunch, the child goes to school.

What time the second shift starts is determined by the school schedule, as a rule, it is 13:30. Classes at school, depending on the schedule, go until 19:00, after which the child goes home.

During the hour, students of the second shift have the opportunity to take a walk, in elementary school this time is a little more. At 20:00 the child should have dinner. For the next two hours, he pursues his hobbies, prepares clothes and shoes for the next day, and performs hygiene procedures. At 22:00 the child goes to bed.

The authorities thought about the abolition of the second shift in schools

09.12.2014

The authorities of the Novosibirsk region are exploring ways to switch schools to work in one shift.

On December 9, Governor Vladimir Gorodetsky noted that earlier the abolition of the second shift in schools was a wish, but now such a task has been set by Russian President Vladimir Putin. "If it will be comprehensive school working in one shift - well, of course, it’s more correct. But the second shift will be given more, the school with all classes, laboratories, gyms, for extracurricular work. Great!" the governor stressed.

Now the regional authorities are considering different ways to accomplish the task. "I gave you an assignment. We examine what we need, how many schools, whether to expand, extensions or new constructions. These are the global tasks,” explained Vladimir Gorodetsky.

He noted that the program for the transition of schools to work in one shift will be supported by the federal authorities. According to him, the program will be much more complicated and will require more funding than the development of a network of kindergartens.

The governor also explained that before the end of the year, the authorities would approve a plan for the implementation of other tasks announced by the president in his message to the Federal Assembly on December 4. “This is an impulse,” he stressed.

We ask you to cancel the second shift in Russian schools

Dudareva I.V.:

President of Russia V.V. Putin

The parent community appeals to you, Vladimir Vladimirovich, with a request to pay special attention to the problem of teaching children on the second shift in Russian schools.

The fact is that parents, and most importantly the children themselves, are constantly in a state of continuous stress, studying in the second shift at school, or are in a permanent expectation of the prospect of learning in the second shift.

In the Decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor Russian Federation dated December 29, 2010 N 189 Moscow "On the approval of SanPiN 2.4.2.2821-10" Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the conditions and organization of training in educational institutions"in position 10.4. we find:

"In institutions that work in two shifts, education of 1st, 5th, graduating 9th and 11th grades and classes of compensatory education should be organized in the first shift."

In reality, it looks like this. First-graders study in the first shift, adapt, they have a routine, the first half of the day is fixed as the most productive part of the day in terms of learning. Further, on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th years of study, the school administration, at its discretion, can transfer the student to study from the first to the second shift. In the fifth grade, the child will once again be forced to adjust to a different mode of activity and learning. And so on.

Psychologists say that the daily biorhythm of a person's mental activity is built in such a way that its first peak occurs at 8-12 am, and the decline in the middle of the day is 12-4 pm. It is striking that in the same SanPiN 2.4.2.2821-10 "Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the conditions and organization of education in educational institutions" in chapter X. Hygiene requirements to the regime of the educational process clause 10.7. we read: "The schedule of lessons is made up taking into account the daily and weekly mental performance of students and the scale of difficulty subjects(Appendix 3 of these sanitary rules)". In Appendix 3 we read: " Hygiene advice to the lesson schedule. Modern scientific research it has been established that the biorhythmic optimum of mental performance in school-age children falls on the interval of 10-12 hours. During these hours, the greatest efficiency of assimilation of the material is noted at the lowest psychophysiological costs of the body. Therefore, in the schedule of lessons for students of the 1st stage of education, the main subjects should be taught at 2-3 lessons, and for students of the 2nd and 3rd stages of education - at the 2nd, 3rd, 4th lessons.

In this regard, we, parents, have a question: why are our children, despite all the recommendations of specialists, forced to study in the second shift? For what reason do officials, instead of regularly monitoring the situation in schools regarding a sufficient number of schools, classrooms, teachers and much more and eliminating the causes of the appearance of classes studying on the second shift, force schoolchildren to adapt and study on the second shift? Why where education system fails, the most defenseless are extreme - children?

So, it turns out that a child studying on the second shift works mentally during the most unproductive hours of the day. It is scary to imagine the consequences for the physical and mental health of schoolchildren that such overloads, disruption of the work of the internal biological "clock" will lead to. How will such jumps in learning mode and in the daily routine in general affect the health and performance of our children? Will in the future, having entered adulthood, a person who systematically studied in the second shift work effectively in the first half of the day?

Also, a very big problem for working parents is to ensure control over the preparation of homework by a child studying on the second shift. While parents are at work, it is not clear who will be responsible for the observance of the daily routine (first half of it) by children studying on the second shift. Not all parents are ready to fearlessly accept the fact that a child studying on the second shift will get to school on his own, and return home from school at night (this is especially true in the winter). After all, the second shift ends at 17.00, 18.00, 19.00, and in some schools even at 20.00. While the children studying in the first shift are already at home for several hours at this time and, as a rule, managed to take a walk with their peers, go to hobby groups and sports sections, and relax.

Parents of schoolchildren studying on the second shift are very worried about the implementation of Article 31 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Namely: Article 31. 1. States Parties recognize the right of the child to rest and leisure, the right to participate in games and recreational activities appropriate to his age, and to participate freely in cultural life and make art. 2. States Parties shall respect and promote the right of the child to participate fully in cultural and artistic life and shall promote appropriate and equal opportunities for cultural and artistic activities, leisure and recreation.

Difficulties with the implementation of the above rights of the child arise due to the fact that there are very few sections and circles that operate in the first half of the day, and in some settlements sections and circles, working in the morning, do not exist in principle. As a result, a student studying in the second shift is deprived of the right to choose and does not have the opportunity to develop creatively in those areas for which he has inclinations and abilities.

It should be especially noted that the real test for families with two or more students is teaching children in different shifts. The presence of second shift education in Russian schools only testifies to the insufficient work of the relevant officials in the direction of overcoming such an exceptional measure as second shift education. We, children and parents, hope that in the 21st century our government has all the necessary mechanisms to create such conditions under which Russian schoolchildren will study only in the first shift.

Vladimir Vladimirovich! We ask you to pay attention to the problem of teaching students in the second shift and cancel this form of education.

Many are familiar with the theory of biorhythms: owls, larks, pigeons, and so on, that is, the dependence on the daily rhythm of human activity.

We only note that children are most attached to the daily rhythm, to the sunrises and sunsets of a natural source of light. Since the Sun "rises" much later in winter, the beginning of the first shift should not be earlier than the sunrise in the given area + 1 hour, approximately (this hour includes the time of natural waking up of the body plus the time required to get to school according to the formula) .

So, on December 18 for the NSO the beginning of the first shift at 10.00 am. ( Sunrise: 08:49).

School graduation time, i.e. second shift, no later than 16.00 ( Sunset: 16:00)

80th school of the Petrogradsky district. Here is such a wonderful message they gave us on 13.05 at the meeting - all the second grades will study in the second shift. I have a bad idea how children of 8 years old, having gone wild in the first half of the day on the “extension”, will then study. And what about additional classes - after 6 pm (this is if you still manage to agree)? When are the lessons?
The question, in general, is this: has anyone come across such a surprise? How did you survive? And has anyone tried to apply, for example, to the Committee on Education, etc., and are there any precedents for a positive solution to this issue (that is, when this same 2nd shift was avoided as a result)?
Time is running out, everyone will now go on vacation, there will be no one to gather, nothing to be done ... Here I am at a loss: to raise the issue or not, and if we raise it, then from which side to enter.
In general, "I'm stunned, dear edition" ... :(

I once studied for three years in the second shift. At first it was not usual. and then even liked it. But my mother didn't work for us. Lessons were done in the morning. So even better. But we did not sit at school in the morning. we were already at work.
I don't think it's that terrible.

I can only sympathize. I myself studied in the second shift in grades 2,3,4.
In general, it seemed to me that now it seems to be forbidden according to SanPin. Maybe now knowledgeable people will catch up.

My daughter this year, 2nd grade, also studied in the 2nd shift. She really liked that it was possible to sleep longer, she is my owl. All mugs and extras classes were in the morning, then at 12-30 to school and until 16-30 then the lessons were done after school, otherwise nothing, because in the morning there were mugs, etc. As far as I know, according to SanPin, only first-graders are not allowed to study in the 2nd shift. Of course, the extension does not fit into such a schedule. Another minus is that the child really does not have enough time to do their own business, because on the first shift she gets up at 07 o'clock, and when on the third shift, then at 09, and these two hours are sometimes very lacking.

Otchkgo? Musical, for example, works in two shifts. Many sports sections - from 18 or from 19 o'clock, our lessons end at 16-45, we are quite on time. There is also an extension in the morning, if the mother works, then the child is at school from 8-00 to 17-00 approximately, what's the difference, lessons first or extension?

We have a musician in the morning, she works in two shifts, there is still English, there are also two groups, morning and evening, though we still went to the evening, the daughter just had time to get to English from school, he is from 17-15, and the lessons ends at 16-30, well, tennis in the morning, there are also groups of different times. Excuse my curiosity, but why the 2nd shift? There are not enough offices, so the extension also needs an office, and one where everyone can sit down.

estee

17.05.2010, 13:08

Yes, the problem seems to be with cabinets. Apparently, they will combine all 2nd classes into one extended group ...

and then the class can be made floating, i.e. which office is free that day - we sit there. Well, probably the calculation is that many either have the opportunity to bring the child to school in the middle of the day (who does not work or have grandparents), or do not want the child to sit at school full time (i.e. from 9 to 16, this, as you and I know, and not every adult can stand it, what can we say about second graders ...), and come up with something like nannies for 2-3-4 children and so on ..

really no one tried to raise this issue at the level of the city administration, it can’t be like that, all the same, such active mothers!!!....

Sanitary rules and norms SanPiN 2.4.2.576-96 "Hygienic requirements for the conditions of schoolchildren's education in various types of modern educational institutions"
(approved by the resolution of the State Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision of the Russian Federation of October 31, 1996 N 49)

2.9.8. Classes in schools should begin no earlier than 8 a.m., without holding zero lessons.
In general educational institutions with in-depth content of curricula, training is carried out only in the first shift.
In general education institutions that work in several shifts, students in elementary school, fifth, graduation and compensatory classes must study in the first shift.

those. this turns out to be a violation on two counts: firstly, a school with in-depth study of English, and secondly, this Primary School.

a colleague’s daughter is studying in the second grade in the 2nd shift .. at first it didn’t triple her colleague, she wanted to transfer the child, but the child did not agree .. then they got involved ... there is an extension in the morning .. I know that the girl also goes in for swimming and additionally English..
I was in 2nd grade too, so there was nothing to worry about.
but, to be honest, I don’t quite understand how the second shift of a second grader can be combined with work (a colleague’s grandmother is in the next entrance)

You and I are in the same school - it’s true that my son is moving at 3 - our classes are being transferred from 75 schools where they studied for 2 years (75 are closed for repairs) - at 75 we repaired excellent classes - now we don’t know which rooms are being transferred and apparently in connection with this - 2 classes will be on the second shift. A friend has a son in your parallel - she is also in shock! Don't know where to go!!!

I also studied in the 2nd grade in the second shift .. and nothing survived ...
I think since you and after you there was a surge in the birth rate, then it will only get worse. At our school, for example, there is a separate junior building and it will not physically fit more than 3 classes in parallel, so hold on and try to somehow get along with this schedule. And there are mugs in the morning and in DTYu of all sorts of identity.

She studied for 2 years in the second shift. Disgusting. I am an owl. As a result: I’ll wake up by 11, go to school by 13, go there until 17, go home for lunch, then you don’t know whether to do homework as long as there is a desire, or to take a walk for a couple of hours while the weather is normal. In general, neither the mind nor the heart.

Did you ever wake up before 11 on your first shift? ;)
The problem of the 2nd shift is more acute just for larks, kmk. In the morning, performance is higher, by lunchtime - a decline. And it is at this time that you need to learn new material at school ...
In general, I don't see a big problem. The number of hours spent at school remains unchanged. You just need to try to organize the day in such a way that there is enough time for everything.

according to rumors, someone from the parallel classes has already figured it out, it seems that they even hired a lawyer ... I don’t know how it will end, but I really hope that there will be parents in our school who have the opportunity to press the necessary pedals so that the poor sophomores find four unfortunate rooms , at least on the basis of another school. after all, it is certainly possible to do this at the level of the RONO or the education committee. otherwise, I stop believing in our law forever - sanpins are forbidden, but schools are doing it, and the regulatory authorities are silent and do not help solve the problem, and our people, as always, are silent ... :(

I studied in the second grade in the second shift for 1 month, in May. The teacher lay down to save, and gave a new only since September. So we were taught by the teacher of the parallel class, and in the morning of her own. It must have been hard for her. We had quite a lot of fun, because in the morning we could walk, since it was a warm spring in the yard :) For some reason, I managed to go to the music room in the evening, too, it’s sacred :) So it’s quite possible that for children it won’t be such a nightmare . Although it is extremely inconvenient for parents! Hope and fight!

yes, I found the current sannorm from 2008, and it is also clearly stated there - the elementary school cannot study in the second shift. under no circumstances.

Give me a link, please, otherwise I found only SanPiN 2.4.2.1178-02, which was put into effect on 09/01/2003 instead of the one released in 1996. It is written there:

I'm with you!!
I have just one son moving to the second grade, and the second shift "shines" for him, and the eldest son goes to the third grade of the 80s (from building 75th).
I was so happy :support: that they would study in the same building!! Turns out I was too happy...
for me, this is a quiet horror: my second-grader is a lark, which means that by the beginning of classes at 11 or 12 o’clock he will already be 5-6 hours on his feet, not actively doing anything fruitful!
about homework that you can do in the morning, I won’t even talk seriously: 009:.
classes in the morning are possible if there is time for them, and when the beginning starts at 2 o'clock.
and what can you do: 008: to be at school at 11?? nothing is simple! and it turns out that bring one to school, come back for the next one, after 2 hours take the first one, hand it home, come back for the second ... and even the third son will be born in September. work out.
The schedule of classes after school for children is already busy. that means leaving school at 4 pm on dry rations, and even running the theater, training ... I don’t think that mine will be school soup ... which means I’m always on snacks.
and it's dark all the time:010:...and at night you have to sit down for lessons...:015:
and where will they find so many classrooms at school for the head (from 9 am to 11 am) ??? I know that many parents will send their children to school during this time.

God, what darkness: 001:! I myself studied in two shifts at the institute (a year after a year), even for me it was, to put it mildly, uncomfortable - the whole day was broken, you don’t know when to do homework and when to rest, and here the children are still small, although who knows maybe it's not as scary for them as it is for adults.

She studied in the second shift in the 2nd grade. I still remember this bullshit. Why and who needs it? Slept for a long time. Didn't have time to do the lessons. Broke the whole regime. Then it was too early not to wake up. Getting up early is still a problem. NIGHTMARE!!!

Olly_sun

Does your second grader sleep at three in the afternoon? Then, of course, it is difficult.
Do you do homework without concentration? Or were you not asked in the first one yet?
And I don't think that the child is "on his feet too long to be incapable of any mental activity."
I studied at the beginning of the second shift, and I was very sorry that it was then canceled with us.

I'm sorry I doubt it!!

Of course, the 2nd shift is not very convenient, but to make a tragedy out of this? ..: 001:
I repeat once again, nothing changes for working mothers, the child will remain the same as he was at school from 8-00 to 16-30. Non-working, probably easier. Those who have a "free schedule" need to shift this schedule a little. For example, a year ago I appeared in the office from 9-00 to 12-00, this year - from 13-00 to 16-00. There are mugs-musician-sports in the morning.
The schedule of my children (school, music, swimming pool, kudo, drawing) is, in principle, difficult to concoct, so that everyone would be satisfied, regardless of the shift. But this is my personal grief...

And you will be satisfied??? And you will be able to build your schedule so that all circles-sections + lessons would converge??
I'm sorry I doubt it!!

besides, "he who gets up early, God gives him!"

and it shines for me and after 9 more homework to do.
I'm saying, someone gets high late to bed and late to rise.

some believe that SUN Ping norms that children should study in the morning are considered nonsense, for many, study is generally not in the first place.
The unanimous opinion of doctors that the peak of remembering and understanding information occurs from 10 to 12 in the morning in children is an empty phrase for you!

when our generation went to school, the pace of life was completely different, and the load after school, although if you had a good second shift ... we still won’t understand each other.

p.s. the norms of the Russian language, where, to emphasize a respectful attitude towards the interlocutor, the word "you" must be written with a capital letter, I know.;)

Bitingness? Yes, not in one eye :) (and I wonder if there is causticity that tells the truth? Well, you already told me about what is deceiving: 065 :)
But it’s really interesting to me - is your child doing music without concentration at three o’clock? And no motivation? :) - Well, you wrote that in the second grade it is generally something unthinkable. :073:
Sanpin has already been quoted - there is a clearly marked ban on the second shift in the 1st and final grades. There are no obligations for the morning training of other classes.
And about the unanimity of doctors - no need to invent. It is necessary to study when it is convenient for the child. The biological clock different people different. And doctors know this too. :)
My child is in the beginning for a year homeschooling studied well during the day (attending school). While engaging in music school and visiting the sports section: 004: . So, it is not necessary for everyone to set only your son as an example. Other children may be different. And they can do very well.

Choice: talk with the school administration, with the RONO, there is an option to go to another school this year (but we have a very good teacher !!), you can go to family education for a year.
I went to school where children study in the morning. I had a choice - any school, I made a choice, and now my family (and not only mine) must adapt ...
In other words, I'm still thinking...

about 2008, I seem to get excited. this change was dated 2008, and the SanPin is valid from 2002.

but today on the website of Rospotrebnadzor I found a draft of a new sanpin, which will come into force on August 1, 2010. There is also a paragraph that says:

10.4. Classes should start no earlier than 8:00. Zero lessons are not allowed.
In institutions with in-depth study of individual subjects, lyceums and gymnasiums, training is carried out only in the first shift.
In institutions that work in two shifts, teaching of grades 1, 5, graduating grades 10-11 and classes of compensatory education should be organized in the first shift.
Education in 3 shifts in general educational institutions is not allowed.

Those. again - in a school with in-depth study English language 2nd shift not allowed, so it turns out...

who is interested - here is a link to the document http://www.rospotrebnadzor.ru/...
there we enter the type of document - sanitary rules, keywords - Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the conditions of education in educational institutions. And the same draft resolution on their entry into force will fall out.

yes, I started the topic. and according to my impressions, about 70% of the parents in our class were not delighted, it’s just that the people in the bulk are inert, and prefer to wait for the weather by the sea.
As for the reasons for the topic - I just wanted to find out if such a decision is legal in relation to the 2nd grades of the English school, and asked for help from those who have encountered such a situation and know the current norms. in addition, I wanted to hear "whether there were cases of miraculous healing", i.e. whether it was possible parents to other schools, together with the administration of the school, or with the RONO, or with the Committee for Education, or with VIM, in the end, solve the problem by, for example, the unexpected appearance of a friendly hand from other schools, ready to shelter 25 second-graders from a neighboring school for a year ... well, I'm such a dreamer, what can you take from me.
if there is no other solution and will not be, then well ..... we will go to the second shift. we don’t want to change the school - we have a wonderful teacher, an excellent children's team and so on. People will make some noise, make some noise and everything will be shaved in the end. so maybe everything will work out.

yes, this building is promised. The building itself is very good, a school with wide corridors and spacious classrooms.
so the kids should have a good time there!!
what are we?? we'll tune in!!

In cramped or offended?

The attention of children is already quite difficult to keep, and even more so in the evening! - the teacher of mathematics Tatyana Sergeevna complains. - As soon as you turn to the blackboard, write down the conditions of the problem, they are already distracted: one looks out the window, the other yawns ...

Mom of eight-year-old Alyosha in tears:
- I've been at work since the morning, I'm constantly worried: how did he eat without me, did his homework, did he forget to lock the door.

For students primary school especially difficult. They did not have time to adapt to new conditions, and here, as in the movies, "Bam - the second shift!" Older guys have their own problems: you don’t want to go to bed early, but you have to get up no later than seven, otherwise you won’t have time to do your homework. It’s good that SanPiN (sanitary rules and regulations) prohibit second-shift training for first graders, fifth and final grade students ...

Is it possible to completely abandon the second shift, for example, "inflate" classes - in order to sit in cramped quarters, but not be offended? Many schools do this. But SanPiN is on guard here too: the class should consist of no more than 25 people.

IN last years greatly increased: there were more subjects, the programs became more complicated. Therefore, schools are introducing innovative pedagogical technologies. But there are no innovations for students on the second shift - although it has been proven that mental activity in the afternoon hours is much lower than in the morning. Maybe scientists-physiologists, teachers, psychologists will help?

Shall we play?

All the literature written by scientists during the years of shortage of school places tells parents and teachers - the most important thing. Indeed, if your child must, like most of his peers, pass the second shift test, there is nothing else to think of.

Subject to the regime, conditioned reflexes are developed at a specific time: children fall asleep quickly, get up easily in the morning and do not lose their working capacity all day. At first, of course, parents will have to be patient in order to teach their son or daughter to live by the hour: go to bed and wake up on time, do gymnastics together, have breakfast, sit down for lessons ...

Surely among your acquaintances there are those who manage to work and play sports, and pay enough attention to the house, and there are those who always complain about the lack of free time. Think about it: after all, there are exactly 24 hours in a day for everyone, but some themselves command time, while others obey it. Talk about it with your child. Better yet, offer him such a game: let him, as it were, take a picture of his day, paint it down to the minute. For example, walking for 40 minutes, doing math for 25 minutes, and so on. Then help him identify where the time is lost and plan for tomorrow.

From complex to simple

There are no concessions for students in the second shift. Teachers have instructions on how to optimize school schedule taking into account the "physiological functions and performance of students." It eliminates the excess of the permissible load. At the beginning and end of the week, subjects that require intensive mental work are not planned. But on Tuesday and Thursday, the student needs to be especially collected in order to solve difficult problems in physics and mathematics. The schedule for each day is based on the principle "from complex to less complex and very simple." For example, the first lessons are mathematics and physics, and the day ends with biology and. The same principle should be used when doing homework: start with written subjects and end with oral ones.

If the child is one of those who slowly sway, it is better to do the opposite. The pace should be fairly high. It is enough for primary school students to spend one and a half to two hours a day on lessons. In the fifth or sixth grade, this time increases to two and a half hours, in the seventh - up to three. Students in grades eight through eleven can study at home for up to four hours a day. Exceeding these indicators adversely affects health and academic performance. Children begin to complain of weakness, headaches, become nervous. Lack of sleep, lack of fresh air and movement affect. Often a tired child "for rest" sits down to the TV screen and watches everything. But in fact, a TV or computer after class only contributes to a further increase in fatigue. Doctors recommend watching TV no more than two or three times a week: for younger students - about an hour; in middle and senior school age - about one and a half to two hours.

Dinner is on the table!

The second shift is not a reason to switch to eating chips and hot dogs. If the body does not compensate for energy costs, the growth and development of the child are at risk. We must make sure that before school he eats hot food. A full regime requires you to sit down at the table four to five times a day at intervals of 3.5 - 4 hours. The rational ratio of proteins, fats and carbohydrates in the diet of a schoolchild is 1:1:4 or 1:1:5. It is better if two-thirds of the volume of carbohydrates are presented in the form of starch (potatoes, cereals, bread), and one-third in the form of sugar (including in drinks, fruits and berries). Do not give your child more than 70-75 grams of sweets per day. Let the main principle of family nutrition be variety, but not excess of food!

If parents do not want their child to work on the second shift, they can contact the principal of the school. He is obliged to help find a place in another school where teaching is conducted in one shift.

Optimal school schedule

Of course, parents can, through trial and error, develop the optimal daily routine for their child. But it is better to trust the competent opinion of scientists and compare the regimen with a scientifically based table.

Lesson Schedule Requirements

With a properly designed lesson schedule for high school students the largest number points must be on Tuesday and/or Wednesday, and for elementary and middle school students on Tuesday and Thursday.

The subjects that have been awarded the most points in the schedule of younger students should fall on the second or third lesson, and for middle and older students - on the second, third and fourth.

The schedule is incorrect if the highest score falls on the first and last days of the week, or if their number is the same for all school days.

Parent's notebook

The question is answered by the head of the press service of the Moscow Department of Education A.V. Gavrilov.

- At the school where my son studies, the security work is not very well organized. Anyone can freely enter the building, although we regularly donate money to pay for the services of the private security company. Despite the complaints of parents, the situation does not change. Moreover, the principal of the school refuses to provide documents confirming that this private security company has the right to protect the school. Is this a violation? Where can we turn for help?

What do parents need to know? Firstly, a copy of the contract for the provision of private security services must be hung in a conspicuous place in the school. Secondly, this private security company should be included in the list recommended by the Moscow Department of Education. Thirdly, payment must be made only through a bank. If parents are not satisfied with the work of the guard and do not find understanding with the director, they can contact the district department of education or the city inspectorate under the Department of Education.

Legal advice:

1. We need to draw up an application to the principal of the school to transfer the 10th grade to the first shift, because the children are already adults, it is not convenient from the second shift.

1.1. Written in free form. I think you might be denied. The school pre-allocates which classes go to the first shift and which to the second shift. You need to negotiate with the director, maybe some class will go to the second shift for the place of your class.

2. Is it possible to remove the second shift in schools?

2.1. Of course you can, write to Putin, he can do anything.

3. Is it possible to establish a second shift at school for the whole year for 10th grade students?

3.1. If your school belongs to institutions with in-depth study of individual subjects, a lyceum and a gymnasium, then second-shift education is illegal. This is prohibited by clause 10.1 SanPIN 2.4.2.2821-10 "Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the conditions and organization of education in educational institutions", approved by the Decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation of December 29, 2010 N 189.
If the school is ordinary, then there is no ban on teaching 10th grade students in the second shift for the entire year of study.

4. Is the second shift legal at a school with in-depth study of certain subjects?

4.1. In institutions with in-depth study of individual subjects, lyceums and gymnasiums, training is carried out in the first shift. Complain to Rospotrebnadzor.

5. Document regulating the abolition of the second shift in schools.

14. The director of the school insistently suggests that my son change schools, the son studies well, but there was a conflict with a classmate. I came to ask the director to let her son go 2 times a week from the 6th lesson (we study from the second shift), because. he doesn’t have time for training (we do boxing, we take first places), she brought an application and a certificate from the coach, and she started yelling at me, said to change school that I could not write an application, she would still refuse me. What to do?
